To help with effects like the split screen, I watched YouTube tutorials that explained how to do them as I was still learning how to use Premiere Pro.

Here's the beginning of the process. I put the audio onto the timeline and marked the beats to plan what clip was playing at what time. I then imported all of the clips I filmed for the music video and placed them where I needed them.
